Ever feel like making a super easy dessert? Look no further than lazy pie. I started making this in college because it is cheap and fairly figure friendly. And it really could not be easier. Let the laziness begin.
It only calls for four ingredients: a pre-fab graham cracker pie crust; a box of jello; two containers of yogurt in the same flavor as the jello; and a small tub of cool whip. We decided to go with lime for this one, but you can do any flavor that comes in jello and yogurt.

After letting the cool whip thaw in the refrigerator for a few hours so it is nice and creamy, dump it all in a bowl. Then add the yogurt and the jello packet.

After giving it a good stir to dissolve all of the jello crystals, pour it into the pie crust.
Then just smooth it all out.
Pop the lid on it and set it in the freezer for a few hours.
And you end up with a creamy frozen treat. That takes about four minutes to make from start to finish.
For those lazy days. It doesn’t look incredibly appetizing in this photo, but we didn’t quite let it freeze enough since we wanted to grab a final pic last night (and try it of course). We went with the lite cool whip and the sugar free jello so depending on what kind of yogurt you get it can be fairly low in sugar. Unfortunately the Target we went to last night was out of the regular graham cracker crust so we had to shell out about $1 more for that, but regularly, the ingredients for this would total about $4.40. Not too shabby for a whole pie.

My son is going to LOVE this!
We will be trying this at our house…….you could come up with all sorts of combinations
Definitely. Just be warned that the graham cracker crust is messy for little ones (and Dain).
