In case you’ve been living under a rock, let me introduce you to Etsy: a handmade marketplace where artists from around the world sell their wares. And believe me, there is truly something for everyone. Most recently I’ve gotten a few gifts for the upcoming Mother’s Day there, but last summer I was a total etsy stalker checking the wedding section nearly every day for things that we couldn’t live with out. And by we I really just mean me.
The grand total for etsy items making an appearance on our big day: 19. And that includes everything from a few bridesmaids’ gifts from Texas, hairpins from a seller in Israel, and a custom purse from a native Minnesotan. And I pretty much heart them all. It’s hard for me to play favorites, but here are some of them.
A personalized hangar for my dress to hang on purchased from this shop.

A little photo frame to put a picture of my late grandparents in and attach to my bouquet from this shop.

A custom ring bearer pillow with lovebirds in our wedding color from this shop.

A custom purse from this shop that was made using part of my mother’s wedding dress. And thanks to my mom for letting me cut a lace sleeve off of her dress. It was truly beautiful though, and I will cherish it forever as a memento of our special day.

These amazing star wars lego cufflinks from this shop. Because we all know a five year old boy needs some kind of force to be with him to get excited about posing for formal pictures.

And these luminaries from this shop brought a little ambiance to our dessert bar.

Those are just a few of my favorites, but I am incredibly happy with all of my wedding Etsy purchases. All of the sellers were great to work with, and I’d recommend them all to anyone looking for a unique touch for their big day.
